MotoGP : In the blinking of an eye for Assen

Wednesday, 25 June 2008
First of all, I am sorry for all my friends, that I didn't update my blog for several days, it's kind of going back to the stone age, darkness and emptiness, all because the electricity was off here everyday, and it really killed my mood to write.

OK, Last year Rossi was punching Stoner in Assen straight on the face, instead of his slow and unreliable bike, he won comfortably against Casey Stoner. How about this year (I mean this week).... I bet that there won't be many things change, except Pedros! a and Stoner and Rossi will fight in the front. Some little interesting facts are that Rossi has won here 4 (four) times and also Rossi declared that Assen is his favorite track, the atmosphere is also brilliant. For your info:

The Assen circuit is the only present in the calendar which has hosted every year a round of Grand Prix motorcycle racing since its beginnings in 1949 (publicly open in 1955), even though the first "Dutch TT" is ongoing even in 1925.Over the years the track was shortened several times: the first edition, 59 years ago, took on a path of over 16 kilometers, while already from the track next was increased to 7.7 km.

One good news is for Loris Capirossi fans, he has already stated he will be ready to race for Assen and that means no seat available for Ben Spies who has made a good step in Donington, if Suzuki is willing to provide a 3rd bike, maybe it will be another great wee! kend for Spies.

Toseland will have an extra energy ! to make a better result after a disaster in turn one in Donington, I think that he was pushing too hard because he was started from back row but in the other hand he has to show to his home crowd that he can do a podium, and in the end, he was being lapped by the front runners, the burden maybe was too heavy for him. Come on Toseland, you can do it champ....:-)

My final point here probably Macio Melandi, he is devastated and I couldn't see any thing worst than this (of what he is having now...) Gibernau is ready and Ducati is ready to give Gibbers a seat, Melandri should find a better way for himself.
