Chelsea fail to go top
Chelsea has failed to take their opportunity to go top of the English Premier League last night. The Blues were held to a 0-0 draw against Everton at Goodison Park.
The London side was looking to capitlise on their away form, because before this game they were on a six game unbeaten run.
Even more bad news for the team, Captain John Terry won't be part of the festive season fixtures. He was given a red card after a high tackle on Toffee's midfielder Leon Osman.
The ! Blue's Captain will now miss the their two league games with West Brom and fellow Londoners Fulham, as well as an FA Cup tie with South End in the new year.
According to reports after the match Chelsea manager Luiz Felipe Scolari was seething with anger and refused to talk to the media.
After this result Liverpool still top the log with 39 points, Chelsea have 38 points in second place, with Aston Villa third on 34, with current Champions Manchester United on 32 points and have two games in hand.
