Breakfast headlines
It wasn't a great weekend for my predictions. The Vodacom Stormers suffered a 4 point defeat to the Crusaders, but Bafana Bafana did get a last minute 2-1 win over Norway.
Krieket:
Die Proteas het ook beter gevaar as wat ek voorspel het. Johan Botha het die span gelei tot 'n twee nul reeks oorwinning oor Australie. Hulle het gisteraand met 17 lopies gewen. Botha het 2 paaltjies vir 16 lopies in 4 boulbeurte gevat. Roelof van de Merwe het 48 lopies in 30 ball gemoker.
The Nashua Cape Cobras beat the bizhub Highveld Lions by 6 wickets in the Supersport Series. The Nashua Titans got a 10 wicket win over the Gestetner Diamond Eagles. The Chevrolet Warriors beat the Nashua Dolphins by 231 runs.
England got a 9 wicket win over the West Indies thanks to the Duckworth Lewis method.
India and New Zealand have drawn the second test.
Rugby:
Fiji clinched the Hong Kong Sevens a! fter a 26-24 cvictory over the Springboks in the final. The Boks' talisman, Mzwandile Stick missed a difficult conversion to tie the match.
The Sharks are top of the Super 14 log this morning after the win over the Brumbies. Meanwhile, there's concern within the Australian side with lock Shawn Mackay in a coma after being knocked down in Durban earlier yesterday morning.
Formula One:
It was a dream debut for Brawn GP as Jenson Button won the race followed by teammate Rubens Barrichello. Mclarens' Lewis Hamilton got third after Toyota's Jarno Trulli was penalised.
